Gene H. Frohman

Vice President Of Engineering at i2Systems

Gene H. Frohman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1990, they worked at Sikorsky Aircraft, where they held various roles including Chief Air Vehicle Design for the S-76D and Manager of the System Integration Laboratory. In 2007, Gene joined DRS Technologies as the Vice President of Engineering, overseeing engineering, technology, and business development for their Power Solutions Line of Business. In 2012, they became a Partner at Spinnaker Venture Partners, a strategic growth and innovation consulting firm. Gene also served as a Board Member for the UCONN MEM Industrial Advisory Board during that time. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as the Vice President of Engineering at Governors America Corp., responsible for research and development and engineering support. Finally, in 2015, Gene became the Vice President of Engineering at i2Systems, an industry leader in LED lighting technology.

Gene H. Frohman has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Gene H. also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. In addition, they have pursued further education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - The Lally School of Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Science and Technology. Furthermore, Gene has obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Environmental Policy and Science, specializing in Sustainability Studies, from Rensselaer at Work.
