Scott McDermott

Scott McDermott is a seasoned mechanical designer with extensive experience in product development, design, and engineering across multiple prominent companies. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Designer at i3 Product Development, Scott has previously held similar roles at Johnson Health Tech North America and Electronic Theatre Controls, specializing in machine design, plastic and metal part design, and new product development using SolidWorks. Scott's expertise includes conducting product testing, project management, and collaborating with industrial design teams to transform concepts into market-ready products. Additionally, Scott has a background in triathlon coaching and mechanical design for hydraulic systems, supporting overall engineering and prototyping efforts. Scott holds an Associate's degree in Mechanical Design and a technical diploma in Machine Tool Technology from Madison Area Technical College.
