Angie Adams

Angie Adams, PMP, has extensive work experience across various companies in the healthcare and insurance industries. Angie began their career as a claim adjuster at Met Life in 1994 and then moved to GMAC Insurance, where they worked as a Senior Claim Adjuster from 1997 to 2001.

In 2001, Angie joined Magellan Health and held multiple roles over the years. Angie started as a Lead Project Manager, where they managed a team responsible for new account implementations, system integration, and process improvements. Angie then became the Director of Network Implementations, Analysis & Reporting, where they successfully implemented multi-million dollar accounts and products. Subsequently, they were promoted to Senior Director of Provider Network Systems & Implementations, leading business analysts and project managers. In this role, they demonstrated expertise in implementing large accounts and products, driving client satisfaction and regulatory compliance. Finally, Angie served as the Senior Director of Provider Network Business Systems Operations, where they directed teams to carry out projects, championed continuous improvement, and focused on process automations to increase productivity, decrease costs, and improve transparency.

In 2019, Angie transitioned to AMA Consulting Services, LLC as an Independent Consultant, offering their expertise in healthcare and project management. Later in 2020, they joined Kiriworks as the Director of Professional Services – Healthcare Payer, where they managed the professional services team focused on healthcare payer clients.

Currently, Angie serves as the Vice President of Product Management for i3 Verticals, specifically within i3 Healthcare Solutions, starting from June 2023.

Throughout their career, Angie Adams has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, project management skills, and a track record of successful implementations, resulting in improved operations, client satisfaction, and financial outcomes.

Angie Adams, PMP has an MBA degree in Management & Information Systems from Maryville University of Saint Louis. Angie also holds a BS degree in Business Administration & Psychology from the same university. In 2008, Angie obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
