Ken Gilford

Ken Gilford, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ken began their career in 1997 as a GIS Project Leader at Valpak where they conceptualized and developed the Valpak Marketing GIS System. In this role, Ken integrated demographic and psychographic data into the GIS system to support franchise sales. Ken then transitioned to the role of Application Development Manager, where they managed a team of VB. NET developers and oversaw small to medium GIS projects. Ken later became an IT Project Manager at Valpak, leading projects in geodemographic information systems, delivery logistics, and IT systems upgrades. Notably, they successfully implemented the "Track My Mail" project, resulting in significant postal cost savings. Ken also worked as a Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist at Valpak, where they collaborated with the business owner and agile team to design and develop BI data and reports. Overall, Ken's work experience showcases their expertise in database engineering, project management, GIS systems, and business intelligence. Ken joined i3 Verticals in 2015 as the Database Engineer - Team Lead.

Ken Gilford, PMP has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Salem State University and an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from North Shore Community College. Ken also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
