Pamela M.

Pamela M. has a diverse work experience in the field of metallurgy and mineral processing. Pamela is currently working as the Chief Metallurgist at i-80 Gold Corp, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Applications Specialist at Cyanco from September 2020 to May 2023. Pamela also served as the Chief Metallurgist at Nevada Copper Corp from September 2019 to June 2020. Pamela M. has extensive experience at Barrick Gold Corporation, where they held the position of Senior Metallurgist from January 2011 to August 2019. Before joining Barrick, they worked as a contractor, performing metallurgical test work for SGS and Barrick Goldstrike mines. Pamela M. also worked as a Process Engineer at Aker Solutions from October 2006 to July 2009, and as a Project Metallurgist at SGS Mineral Services from May 2005 to September 2006. Pamela started their career as a Junior Lecturer at Bulawayo Polytechnic College from January 2000 to January 2001. Prior to that, Pamela M. worked as an Assistant Metallurgist at Bubye Diamond Mine from January 1999 to January 2000 and as an Assistant/Student Metallurgist at Bubi Gold Mine from January 1997 to January 1998.

Pamela M. completed their Bachelor of Science Honours in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe between 1995 and 1999. Pamela then pursued their Master of Engineering degree in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering at McGill University from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Pamela obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in September 2009. Furthermore, they acquired a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in June 2020.
