Patrick Q. began their career in 2013 as a Student Worker/Paraprofessional at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. In 2014, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nevada Reno. In 2017, they started working as a Consulting Geologist at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, where they worked as a member of several teams and projects ranging across Nevada, South Dakota, Alaska and Idaho to generate and test exploration targets at the deposit to regional scale through the use of mapping, sampling, core logging and data compilation/interpretation. Additionally, they assisted the US Evaluations team in identifying and analyzing early to advanced stage exploration projects that could be of interest to AEM. In 2021, Patrick Q. began working as Lead Exploration Geologist - Ruby Hill at i-80 Gold Corp.
Patrick Q. began their educational journey at Lake Superior College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree. Patrick then attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Science, with a Minor in Chemistry. Finally, Patrick Q. obtained a Masters of Science in Economic Geology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
