Paul Chawrun

Paul Chawrun is an accomplished mining executive with extensive experience in senior operational roles across various companies in the mining sector. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at i-80 Gold Corp since April 2025, Paul has previously held similar positions at Centerra Gold Inc. and Teranga Gold Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing operations, performance, and project development. Additional expertise includes providing executive mining engineering services for early-stage projects, corporate development, and technical services at companies like Chieftain Metals Inc. and Detour Gold Corporation. Paul holds an MBA from Athabasca University, a B.Sc. (Honours) in Mine Engineering from Queen's University, and a B.Sc. in Geology from McMaster University.
