Pedro Santillanes

Pedro Santillanes has a diverse work experience in the fields of interaction design, user experience architecture, teaching, and insurance. Pedro currently serves as a Principal Interaction Designer at IA Collaborative, and previously held roles as a Senior Interaction Designer at the same company and as a Senior User Experience Architect at FCB Chicago. Pedro also worked as a User Experience Architect at VSA Partners, Inc and as a UX Designer at Walgreens Boots Alliance. Additionally, they have experience as an Associate Designer at MSTQ and as a User Experience Designer at DESIGNATION Labs. Prior to their career in design, Pedro worked as an English Teacher at Bridgescape Learning Academy and as an Academic Director at HFS Chicago Scholars. Pedro also gained experience as an Estimator and Claims Adjuster at Progressive Insurance.

Pedro Santillanes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a focus on Secondary Education, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Pedro also has an Illinois Certificate Type 09 endorsement in English Language Arts from the Illinois State Board of Education.
