Garen Gibson

Garen Gibson is an actuarial consultant at Talcott Resolution, where responsibilities include the valuation of Universal Life with Secondary Guarantees, as well as model validation and process improvements using R-Studio and Excel VBA. Previously, Garen worked as an actuarial analyst at Ohio National Financial Services, overseeing reserve valuation for multiple product lines, and as an intern, developed a Microsoft Excel workbook for interest credited and mortality calculations. Garen has also served as a member of the International Association of Black Actuaries, focusing on promoting diversity in the actuarial field. Educational background features a Bachelor of Arts & Science in Actuarial Science from Xavier University. Additional experience includes tutoring mathematics and statistics at both Xavier University's Math Lab and Tutor Doctor.
