Eimhin McNamara

Eimhin McNamara is an experienced professional in the animation industry, currently serving as an Associate Lecturer at the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology since September 2008, focusing on animation principles, stop-motion, design, life drawing, production design for stage and screen, and modelmaking. In 2021, Eimhin co-founded Matchbox Mountain, a full-service animation studio dedicated to storytelling and novel visuals. Previous roles include Compositing Supervisor at Studio Meala, General Managing Director and Animation Supervisor at Paper Panther Productions, and Wolfvision Supervisor at Cartoon Saloon. Eimhin's career also features significant contributions to various animation projects as a workshop teacher, animator, and designer. Eimhin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Animation from the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology and a BA Hons in Animation from the National Film School of Ireland.
