Antti Paajanen

Antti Paajanen is a seasoned professional in nuclear safety and security with extensive experience in various roles. As a Nuclear Safety Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since April 2023, and an Inspector at STUK - Säteilyturvakeskus since January 2021, Antti has demonstrated expertise in nuclear safety oversight. Previous roles include Senior Security Specialist and Nuclear Safety Engineer at Fennovoima, where Antti focused on probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) Level 2 and safety assessment documentation. Antti's background also includes design engineering at Fortum, specializing in severe accident management and PRA Level 2, as well as experience as a radiation protection technician. Antti holds a Master of Science in Energy Technology with a focus on Nuclear Engineering from LUT University, completed in 2011.
