Xuxin Zou

Nuclear Safeguards Inspector/sg, Nuclear Installation Specialist/ies, And Nuclear Engineer/ne at IAEA

Xuxin Zou is an accomplished nuclear engineer with extensive experience in nuclear safeguards and power management. At the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since December 2007, Xuxin Zou has served as a Nuclear Safeguards Inspector, Nuclear Installation Specialist, and Nuclear Engineer, contributing to international emergency preparedness and response efforts. Prior work at China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) included leadership roles in high-level negotiations for third-generation nuclear power technology, as well as hands-on project management for significant nuclear energy projects, such as the Sanmen AP 1000 and Tianwan VVER-1000 reactors. Xuxin Zou holds a Master’s degree in Nuclear Safeguards from Politecnico di Milano and has completed postgraduate studies in Nuclear Power Project Management and Reactor Safety Analysis, along with a Bachelor's degree in Thermal Power Engineering from Changsha University of Science and Technology.
