Bart van Leeuwen

Bart van Leeuwen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in emergency services and situational awareness training. As the owner of Netage B.V. since December 1995, Bart has focused on innovative technologies and solutions for first responders. Currently serving as a Certified Situational Awareness Master Instructor at Situational Awareness Matters, Bart aids first responders in enhancing safety in critical environments. Bart holds leadership roles, including Captain at Brandweer Amsterdam-Amstelland and a member of the Technology Council for the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Additional contributions include serving as a group associate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, participating in various working groups related to data management and emergency information, and holding executive committee roles in initiatives aimed at advancing first responder innovation and interoperability. Bart's educational background includes a degree from Europa College Amsterdam.
