John Morris is a Program Manager at the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), overseeing the training program for international firefighters. John also serves as a Subject Matter Expert, training and managing over 100 international firefighters. Prior to their current role, John had a 30-year career at Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, retiring as a Captain II/ Station Commander. John also held roles as a firefighter/EMT, Hazmat technician, and acting Battalion Chief. John has also worked as an adjunct training instructor and EEO counselor.
