David Shepherd

David Shepherd has an extensive background in the aviation and cargo industry, currently serving as CEO and Managing Director at IAG Cargo since August 2021. David holds a position on the Board of Directors for Aer Lingus UK Ltd and serves as a Non-Executive Director at Mallaghan Engineering Ltd. Previously, David was the Chief Commercial Officer at Aer Lingus and held various roles at IAG Cargo, including Director of Digital Ventures and Commercial Director. David's early career includes significant positions at British Airways World Cargo, culminating in Senior Vice President for Europe and the Americas. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, ACMA in Management Accountancy from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University of London.
