George Karagiannakis

George Karagiannakis is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in government and industry relations within the insurance sector, currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Holdsworth Community Limited and holding multiple executive roles at IAG since 1999. George has managed government relations and corporate affairs for IAG’s direct insurance business, held various managerial positions including Senior Manager Governance & Risk Reporting, and developed international expansion strategies. In addition to a robust career at IAG, George has contributed as a Board Member of The Sydney Institute and as a Committee Member of the Australian Professional Government Relations Association Inc. Previously, George served as Director-Treasurer of the Australian Services Roundtable and held senior finance roles at Telstra Corporation. Educationally, George holds an MBA in International Studies from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Economics in Accounting from The Australian National University.
