Gerd Berner

Gerd Berner is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security strategy and architecture. Currently serving as Manager of Security Strategy and Architecture at IAG since March 2019, Gerd has also held the roles of Manager Security Domain Architecture and Domain Architect for Identity & Access Management. Prior to this, Gerd contributed as a Lecturer at Høgskulen på Vestlandet, delivering courses in technology and cybersecurity. Gerd's previous experience includes roles at IAG as Cyber Security Program Architect and Senior Cyber Risk Partner, and as an Information Security Domain Specialist at ANZ, where Gerd developed cyber security strategies. Gerd's career began at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a Cyber Security Consultant. Gerd holds a Master of Information Systems Security from Charles Sturt University, a Graduate Certificate from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Computing from the University of Tasmania.
