Gillian Folkes

Gillian Folkes is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in organizational development and leadership. Currently serving as the Executive General Manager for Organisational Development & Leadership at IAG since February 2013, Gillian has overseen key portfolios such as Culture, People Experience, Talent and Succession, and Diversity and Inclusion. Previously, acting as the Group Executive for People, Performance and Reputation, Gillian has also held senior roles, including Executive General Manager and Group General Manager in People and Culture. With a strong consulting background as the Principal Consultant at Gillian Folkes Consulting, Gillian has contributed to strategic human resources and talent management since 2008. Early career experience includes leadership roles at Promina, Woolworths Supply Chain, Mr Price Group, and Edgars Retail. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Advanced Diploma in Labour Law from Rand Afrikaans University, along with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
