Jahangir Alam

Jahangir Alam, MCIPS, is an accomplished ICT Category Manager with extensive experience in procurement and technology category management. Currently at IAG since November 2021, Jahangir previously served as a Senior Procurement Officer at Zip Water and held significant roles at Telenor, where notable achievements included leading the procurement process for multi-million dollar licensing negotiations and achieving substantial cost savings across multiple business units. Prior experience also includes a role as Procurement Specialist at VEON, managing large-scale contracts and optimizing costs in telecommunications, and as a Telecommunications Engineer at Alan Dick & Company (Thailand). Jahangir holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dhaka and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, complemented by the MCIPS qualification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
