Julian Benton

Julian Benton currently serves as the Executive Manager for Policy, Pricing & Billing Platforms at IAG since August 2025. Prior to this role, Julian had a long tenure at Suncorp Group from July 2007 to July 2025, where various leadership positions included Head of Digital Insurer, Head of Consumer Portfolio, and Executive Manager for multiple brands including Apia and Shannons, overseeing significant aspects of product, underwriting, and P&L performance for a $5 billion consumer insurance portfolio. Earlier career experiences include serving as Strategy Executive Manager and Head of Finance at AA Insurance Ltd from April 2000 to June 2007, and as an Auditor and Consultant at EY from November 1994 to October 1999. Julian holds a BA Joint Hons degree in Politics & Economics from the University of Exeter, is a Chartered Accountant from ICAEW, and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2018.
