Matthew Bennett

Matthew Bennett is an experienced executive in the insurance sector, currently serving as Executive General Manager of Distribution at NRMA Insurance within IAG since November 2014. Bennett oversees growth, distribution, and portfolio management for NRMA Insurance products, managing approximately $8 billion in revenues and a team of around 1,200 employees. Previous roles include leading business units at RACV focused on digital growth and strategy, as well as overseeing product pricing and customer experience across Australian and direct insurance divisions. Early career experiences include strategic roles at CGU Insurance and finance positions at MLC Limited and Aviva. Matthew Bennett's academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and certification as a Chartered Accountant.
