Sean McGaughey

Sean McGaughey is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as Executive Manager of Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance at IAG since March 2013. With advanced certifications including CISSP, CISM, and PCI ISA, Sean leads a team of over 10 Security Architects, focusing on security assessment and integration to align with business and IT strategies. Previously held roles include Manager of Security Control Assessment and Cyber Security Architecture at IAG, where responsibilities encompassed evolving the Security Architecture team's capabilities in threat modeling and risk assessment. Prior experience includes positions at CenITex and Senetas, where Sean contributed to security solution architecture and web infrastructure consulting. Sean holds an LLB (Honours) in Law from Queen's University Belfast and a Master’s in Computing and Information Systems from Ulster University.
