Ben Dias

Ben Dias is an accomplished professional in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Chief AI Scientist at International Airlines Group since September 2024. Previously, Dias held significant leadership roles at easyJet, including Director of Data Science and Analytics, where responsibilities included transforming the data function to enhance data-driven decision-making. Prior to easyJet, Dias was Head of Advanced Analytics and Data Science at Royal Mail, building a successful data science team. Dias has a robust background at Tesco in leading data initiatives for commercial science and has extensive experience in mathematics and informatics from Unilever. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science and an M.Sci. in Mathematics and Astronomy, both from University College London.
