Bharat Gupta

Bharat Gupta is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in leadership and marketing across various organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member and Vice President for the South Asia Board at the International News Media Association since December 2021, Bharat is also a Governing Council Member at the Internet and Mobile Association of India and a Founding Member of the Digital News Publishers Association. As CEO of Jagran New Media until March 2025, Bharat has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives. Additionally, Bharat holds leadership roles in the Misinformation Combat Alliance and the International Fact-Checking Network. Previous experience includes serving as Executive President of Marketing at Dainik Jagran and the Jagran Group. Bharat's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Mysore and a diploma in Media Planning from MICA.
