Jenny Evelin Párraga M has a diverse work experience background. Jenny Evelin is currently working as a Senior Formulation Scientist at IamFluidics BV since April 2021. Prior to that, they were a University Instructor and Researcher at Tampere University from January 2019 to the present. Jenny Evelin also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tampere University of Technology from December 2012 to December 2018. Before that, they were a Pre-doctoral Researcher at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela from September 2008 to December 2012. Additionally, they had roles as Visiting Research Scientist at Tampere University of Technology, Prosensa Therapeutics B.V., and University of Paris. Jenny Evelin also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Applied Ophthalmo-Biology (IOBA) - University of Valladolid, Spain. Early in their career, they worked as a Pharmaceutical Chemist at the Doping Control Laboratory, where they focused on the analysis and metabolic studies of sports doping substances and drugs abuse.

Jenny Evelin Párraga M began their education in 1999 at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2003. Jenny Evelin then pursued further studies at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, completing a Master's degree in Pharmacy (Advanced studies diploma) from 2007 to 2008. Ultimately, they obtained a PhD in Research and Development of Medicines in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology from the same university, completing their studies from 2008 to 2013.
