Lisa Ragsdale

Lisa Ragsdale is an accomplished mining geologist with extensive experience in geological management and compliance within the mining industry. Currently serving as the Director of Mining Geology at IAMGOLD Corporation since January 2018, Lisa oversees the geological mandate and ensures adherence to industry best practices. Previous roles include Manager of Mining Geology and Project Lead Geologist for the Cote Gold project, where responsibilities included grade control, innovation in mining practices, and geological model updates. Prior to IAMGOLD, Lisa worked as a Senior Production Geologist at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, where Lisa facilitated operational efficiency and resolved geological issues. Lisa’s career also includes positions at Century Mining Corporation and a foundational role at Derry, Mitchener, Booth & Wahl. Lisa holds a BSc in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Toronto and a postgraduate certificate in Management from McGill University.
