Salah Chiter

Salah Chiter is an experienced geologist currently serving as the Coordinateur en géologie at IAMGOLD Corporation for the Westwood mine since May 2022. Previously, Salah held the position of Senior Geologist at TGL Services Industriels from February to May 2022, and served as a Geology Supervisor at Newmont Corporation from April 2021 to February 2022, overseeing the geology department. Prior roles include Senior Production Geologist at Canadian Royalties from April 2015 to April 2021 and Geologist positions at North American Palladium Ltd, Wesdome Gold Mines, and Century Mining, respectively, from 2011 to 2014, 2008 to 2011, and 2006 to 2008. Salah Chiter holds a degree in mining geology from the Université Technique de Krivoi-Rog, Ukraine, completed in 1999, and an earlier educational background from the same institution from 1987 to 1992.
