Dr Uma Kant Panwar

Dr Uma Kant Panwar is an accomplished expert in renewable energy and public policy with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Group Adviser at AMPYR Renewable Energy and a member of Indian Angel Network, Dr Panwar is also the Chairperson and Cofounder of Noema Science Foundation, focusing on research in mind and brain sciences. Previous positions include Director at The Commonwealth Secretariat and board member at Avaada Group. Dr Panwar has substantial experience in government as Principal Secretary in Uttarakhand, overseeing multiple departments, and has also been involved in innovative ventures such as BluSmart, India's first all-electric mobility service. An academic, Dr Panwar holds a PhD from Boston University in International Public Health and is pursuing a second PhD at UPES in Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy.
