Anton Chuvakin

Anton Chuvakin is a recognized expert in security and risk management with extensive experience in both corporate and research environments. Currently serving as Senior Security Staff at Google's Office of the CISO and in Security Solution Strategy for Google Cloud since August 2019, Anton also shares expertise as a faculty member at IANS. Previous roles include Head of Solution Strategy at Chronicle and Research Vice President at Gartner, where involvement spanned numerous areas including security information and event management (SIEM), security analytics, and vulnerability management. Anton has contributed to various organizations, including the Honeynet Project as Chief PR Officer, and has held leadership positions at Qualys, LogLogic, and netForensics. Anton holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Stony Brook University and a degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
