Les Nelson

Les Nelson serves as Vice President of Radiant Professionals Alliance, overseeing operational aspects of an international trade association in the radiant and hydronic industries since August 2016. Additionally, Les Nelson holds the position of Vice President for Solar Heating & Cooling Programs at the International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Officials, contributing to training, education, and product certification since January 2012. As Treasurer of NABCEP, Les Nelson has been involved in the certification of personnel since January 2001. Les Nelson also has a long-standing role as Director and Chair of the Solar Heating & Cooling Committee at the California Solar & Storage Association, with previous positions including President and Executive Director. Formerly, Les Nelson served as Director and Chair of the Solar Heating & Cooling Division at the Solar Energy Industries Association until March 2013 and as President of Western Renewables Group from March 1991 to December 2011. Les Nelson's experience includes a stint as Executive Director of the Solar Rating & Certification Corporation from 2007 to 2009.
