Shelby Astin

Shelby Astin has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 with Mid-South Drug Testing, Inc., where they worked as a Content Developer until 2014. In 2017, they joined Amazon as an Executive Relations Specialist (EXR) and later transitioned into the role of Senior Content Developer. Shelby worked at Amazon until 2022. During this time, in 2020, Shelby also had a specialty internship as a Collections Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution. In 2022, Shelby joined Coinbase as a Lead Content Editor, focusing on institutional content, and worked there until early 2023. Currently, Shelby is employed as a Principal Technical Writer at iA.

Shelby Astin completed a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Education from Western Governors University in 2015. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky School of Information Science, with an expected completion date in 2022.
