Sofia Karageorgopoulou

Sofia Karageorgopoulou is an experienced medical oncologist currently serving as the Director of the 3rd Department of Medical Oncology at Group IASO since November 2019, while also holding the position of Consultant Medical Oncologist at IASO Hospital since 2011. Previous experience includes a role as Medical Oncology SHO and Medical Oncologist at Christie Hospital, NHS, during 2003 to 2004. Sofia has an extensive educational background, earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Pécs and a PhD in gynecologic oncology research from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. An early academic foundation was established at Arsakeio-tositseio Ekalis.
