Marisa Dye

Marisa Dye has extensive work experience starting from 2003 to present. Marisa is currently a Senior Instructional Designer at IAT Insurance Group since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Oklahoma State University from August 2015 to March 2022 as a Senior Instructional Designer. During their time at Oklahoma State University, they developed DEI training, utilized various software for training creation, and managed instructional projects. Marisa also worked at Ponca City Public Schools as a Business Information Technology Instructor and later as an English Teacher from June 2014 to August 2015. Marisa also worked as an English Teacher at Owasso High School from August 2011 to August 2013. Before transitioning to the education field, they had a diverse role at Alva Review-Courier/Newsgram and Lynn Martin Photography, where they served as an Advertising Design, Ad Sales, Columnist, Layout Editor, Reporter, and Proofreader. This role involved newspaper pagination and design, content creation, photography, videography, public relations, and sales. Additionally, Marisa worked as an English, Theater, and Speech Teacher at Ponca City High School from August 2007 to June 2011, and as the President and Instructor at Rocking MD Ranch, Inc. from December 2005 to December 2009. Marisa started their career as the Youth Director/Young Adult Director at Woodlands Christian Church from July 2003 to October 2007.

Marisa Dye has a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Oklahoma State University, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. During the same period, they also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching from the same university. Prior to this, Marisa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, which they attended from 1997 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Marisa Dye has obtained several certifications. These include being a Certified Facilitator of 360 Assessments from the Center for Creative Leadership, obtained in August 2023, and being a Crucial Conversations Mastering Dialogue Certified Trainer from Crucial Learning, obtained in February 2023. Marisa is also a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, having completed the certification from Prosci in March 2022. Moreover, Marisa holds a Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching from Oklahoma State University, which they attained in May 2014.
