Gerhard Maas

Gerhard Maas possesses over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry, primarily within IAV GmbH, where roles included Executive Vice President overseeing International Operations and Powertrain Development. Since September 2002, Gerhard has been preparing for retirement by sharing extensive business knowledge with younger colleagues and transitioning to a passive role beginning January 1, 2019. Prior to IAV GmbH, Gerhard held a position at INA Schaeffler KG focusing on Product Development for Engine Components and served as Head of Engine Mechanics at FEV GmbH. Gerhard earned a Dr.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University between 1975 and 1982.
