Jorge Zickermann

Jorge Lancastre Zickermann is an experienced executive in the maritime and energy sectors, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Ibaizabal Group since 2021 and as a Management Committee Member of ANAVE, the Spanish shipowners association, since 2012. Previously, Jorge held significant roles at Naturgy from 2014 to 2020, where responsibilities included managing a modern LNG vessel fleet and achieving notable efficiency improvements, and at STREAM Repsol Gas Natural LNG from 2005 to 2014, overseeing one of the largest independent fleets of LNG carriers. Earlier positions include Project Manager at Empresarios Agrupados and GHENOVA, where project management in ship design and construction was emphasized. Jorge holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, a Master's in Maritime Law and Shipping Business from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and completed a Senior Management Development Program at Esade.
