Ladeira started her career as a registered nurse, certified in England, Canada and the US, and earned an RNC degree to work with high-risk pregnancies. After 28 years of nursing experience, she stepped into the role of Chairman of the Board after her husband tragically passed away in 1998. Though the transition was difficult, Ladeira persevered and succeeded in her new role, promoting product innovation and earning countless awards, including AeA’s Outstanding Woman in Technology, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and Orange County Business Journal’s Family-Owned Business Award. Under her leadership, iBASEt was also recognized as one of the Best Workplaces in Orange County.
