Shu Dar Yao

Shu Dar Yao is a seasoned professional in the fields of finance, impact investing, and technology, serving as the Founder and Managing Partner of Lucid Capitalism since May 2021, where strategic guidance is provided to investors and donors. As Chairman of the Board for Diversity VC, Shu focuses on creating a bias-free technology industry. Additional roles include Senior Advisor and Global Impact Leader at Sorenson Impact, Board Advisor for IDinsight's Giving Green, and Investment Committee Member at Align Impact, where efforts are directed toward ESG and impact investing. Previous experience includes senior positions at 500 Global, RSF Social Finance, Social Finance, Inc., Citi, and the International Finance Corporation. Shu holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business.
