Jay Rogers

President & CEO, International Bank of Commerce, Houston at IBC Bank

Jay Rogers is an established leader in the Texas banking industry with over 40 years of experience in the area of commercial lending. As Chairman and CEO of IBC-Houston, Rogers oversees and directs the activities of the Houston region, and during his tenure of over 20 years, has seen the financial institution grow from 150 million dollars in assets to over 1 billion. In addition to his leadership in Houston, Rogers serves on the International Bancshares Corporation Investment Committee.

In keeping with the IBC philosophy of "We Do More," Rogers maintains active involvement in several community service organizations. Currently, he serves on the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation Board of Directors, The Center for Hearing and Speech Advisory Board, Covenant House Advisory Board, and Coastal Conservation Association Board Member.

His previous appointments include Chairman of the Board for the American Heart Association-Houston Chapter and the In Town Chamber of Commerce.

Rogers received his Undergraduate degree from Baylor University and completed graduate courses at Rutgers University and the University of Houston. He is married and has two children.
