Carmen Domínguez Domech

Carmen Domínguez Domech has a strong background in finance and control planning. Carmen began their career at REE (RED ELÉCTRICA DE ESPAÑA) as an Internal Auditor from February 1996 to December 1998. Carmen then moved on to ACCENTURE where they served as a Finance Controller from December 1998 to July 2000. Carmen then joined IBERDROLA as a Senior Analyst in July 2000 and worked there until December 2001. Carmen later returned to IBERDROLA in September 2007 as a Financial Analysis Manager, and gradually moved up the ranks to become the Head of Global Finance & Resources Planning and Deputy Chief Financial & Resources Officer from March 2015 to January 2020. In January 2020, they took on the role of Head of Global Finance & Control Planning and most recently, in February 2022, they have become the Global Finance, Control & Development Planning Director. Alongside their corporate experiences, Carmen has also served as a Professor at the IEAF - Instituto Español de Analistas Financieros since October 2014 and as a Part-time Professor at Universidad Complutense since October 2000, teaching courses on the Spanish Financial System, Economic Policy, and BA Economics.

Carmen Domínguez Domech has a strong education history, with a focus on finance and economics. Carmen earned their BA in Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 1995. Carmen then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Applied Economics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1996 to 1998.

In 2005 to 2007, Carmen obtained a certification as a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) and a European Expert in Financial Investments (CEFA) from Instituto Español de Analistas Financieros.

In 2013 to 2014, Carmen attended Esade and completed an Executive Program PROMOCIONA in Top Management.

Currently, Carmen is pursuing an IC-A certificate in Corporate Governance from Instituto de Consejeros-Administradores (IC-A), which is expected to be completed in 2023.

Additionally, Carmen holds a certification as a CIIA and CEFA from IEAF - Instituto Español de Analistas Financieros. The specific dates for obtaining this certification are not provided.
