Joaquin Villanueva Martin

Joaquin Villanueva Martin is an experienced engineering professional specializing in offshore wind farm projects, currently serving as the Offshore Substation Engineering Manager at Iberdrola for the East Anglia Two and Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Farms since November 2017. Prior to this role, Joaquin held various engineering positions at Iberdrola and Iberdrola Engineering and Construction, contributing to major offshore wind projects such as East Anglia One and Wikinger. Joaquin's expertise includes the development of in-house software tools for electrical power systems design and optimization, as well as conducting preliminary design assessments. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy in Electrical Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, both from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
