Saeed Abyaneh Ceng

Saeed Abyaneh, PhD CEng, has a diverse work experience in the field of geotechnical engineering. Saeed currently serves as the Lead Project Manager and Lead Geotechnical Engineer at Iberdrola since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Subsea 7 as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer from March 2021 to February 2022 and as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer from July 2019 to March 2021. Saeed also gained experience as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Atkins from November 2018 to July 2019 and at TechnipFMC as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer from December 2016 to November 2018 and as an Offshore Geotechnical Engineer from March 2014 to December 2016. Saeed also has research experience, having been a PhD student and researcher at Imperial College London from April 2011 to March 2014. Saeed also worked as a Research Assistant at IFSTTAR (LCPC) from April 2010 to July 2010 and as a Civil Engineer intern at INEXIA (SNCF group) from July 2009 to September 2009.

Saeed Abyaneh holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Master recherche, Mécanique des Sols, des Roches et des Ouvrages dans leur Environnement (MSROE) from Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Ecole Centrale de Paris and University Pierre et Marie Curie from 2009 to 2010. Saeed also has an Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, which they received in 2010. Additionally, Saeed Abyaneh has obtained certifications such as an offshore medical certificate from Doctorcall of Harley Street in September 2020 and further offshore emergency training from Warsash school of maritime science and engineering, Southampton solent university in March 2019.
