Iftikhar Zafar

Iftikhar Zafar is an experienced professional in cyber security and compliance, currently serving as Assistant Manager at ibex since March 2023, where responsibilities include leading the annual HITRUST audit and conducting risk assessments to manage security vulnerabilities. Prior to this role, Iftikhar held the position of Assistant Manager Cyber Security at Lahore University of Management Sciences from November 2019 to February 2023, focusing on vulnerability management, incident response, and the development of IT security policies. Previous experience includes roles as IT Manager and Lecturer at Qarshi University, Lecturer at RISE College of Engineering, H.O.D of the Electrical Department at MCT, and Operations and Maintenance Engineer at Mobilink Telecom Inc. Iftikhar Zafar holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from NU-FAST and a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Engineering and Technology.
