Liron Pantanowitz

Liron Pantanowitz is the current advisor at Ibex Medical Analytics. Liron has also been a vice chairman for pathology informatics at UPMC from May 2018 to July 2020, as well as the director of pathology informatics and director of cytology from March 2014 to July 2020. In addition, Pantanowitz has been a professor of pathology & biomedical informatics at the University of Pittsburgh since February 2016. Liron has also been on the medical advisory board at BioImagene from January 2009 to December 2010 and the director of pathology informatics at Baystate Medical Center from January 2004 to December 2010. Lastly, they were the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Pathology Informatics from January 1999 to December 2004.

Liron Pantanowitz pursued a BScHons MBBCh PhD at the University of the Witwatersrand before completing a residency in AP/CP and fellowship in Hematopathology at Harvard Medical School. Liron then went on to complete a cytolopathology fellowship at Tufts University before obtaining their MHA from Ohio University.
