Nate Gemmiti

Nathan Gemmiti serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Ibexis Life & Annuity Insurance Company, a role undertaken since August 2021. With a diverse background in the insurance sector, Gemmiti was the founding Chairman of CIRCA, the Cayman International Reinsurance Companies Association, from April 2020 to August 2021. Prior experience includes co-founding Knighthead Annuity & Life Assurance Company, where Gemmiti served as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel from February 2014 to July 2021. Earlier roles include General Counsel at Northstar Companies, Inc., Northstar Financial Services, Ltd., and Scottish Re Group Limited, where significant growth in assets under management was achieved. Gemmiti’s career began as in-house counsel at Forum Financial Group and as an associate at Pierce Atwood LLP. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Saint Anselm College.
