Poliano Bastos da Cruz

Poliano Bastos da Cruz, PhD, currently serves as a member of the ESG Squad at the IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa, where expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards is applied within the ESG context. Additionally, Poliano holds a position as a City Council Member on the Mayor's Council of Science and Technology in Vitória-ES and is a member of the IFRS Sustainability Alliance. With a long-standing commitment to academia, Poliano has served as Vice Program Director for the PhD & MSc in Accounting & Management at FUCAPE Business School and as an Associate Professor. Poliano's research and teaching focus on ESG, Governance, Finance, Econometrics, and Business Valuation. In the customs sector, Poliano is a Certified Customs Agent and Broker with extensive knowledge of customs regulations. Poliano's educational background includes a PhD in Controllership & Finance and studies in Strategy & Supply Chain Management, complemented by various memberships in professional organizations.
