Daniel Guimaraes has held various roles in the international development and research fields. From 2019 to present, they have been working at IBI - International Business Initiatives as a Project Manager, Business Development Manager, and Business Development Associate. In 2019, they were also a Research Assistant at The Climate Institute, where they lead quantitative research on a project examining the profitability of sustainable forestry practices. In 2018, they were an Assistant Manager at Homeport Restaurant, responsible for day-to-day operations. In 2017, they were a Resident Assistant at The School of The New York Times (NYTedu). In 2016, they were a Research Assistant at Centro de Investigación Avanzada en Educación.
Daniel Guimaraes graduated from Pitzer College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics.
