Dr. Gregory F. Maassen has a long and varied work experience. Dr. Gregory F. began their career in 2006 as Chief of Party Iraq (interim) and Senior Advisor Middle East and Asia for Cardno Emerging Markets Division. In 2010, they became Director of Economic Growth and Governance for AECOM. Dr. Gregory F. then assumed the role of Chief of Party USAID Southern Africa Trade Hub in eight SADC countries, where they oversaw a team of leading experts in trade facilitation, customs reform, clean energy, textile and apparel promotion, food security and agricultural value chains and standards for products and services. In 2016, they became Chief of Party USAID/FDP in Iraq and Chief of Party USAID/ACED in Jordan. In 2019, they founded Ebikelovers.com, an online media platform and organizer of social group activities in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland. In 2021, they founded Communitydocs.org, and became Representative North America for Matebeleng-USA. Dr. Gregory F. also co-founded Kalahari Truffles and became Executive Vice President for IBI - International Business Initiatives. Most recently, they became Board Member for The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy.

Dr. Gregory F. Maassen has an extensive education history. Dr. Gregory F. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Business Administration from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 1986 to 1990. Dr. Gregory F. then completed a Masters degree in Organizational Development from the University of Amsterdam from 1990 to 1994. After that, they obtained a Ph.D. in Business Administration International Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1994 to 1999. In 2021, they earned a Certificate in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Pilot Institute. Dr. Gregory F. also obtained a Certificate in Strategic Digital Marketing from the University of Cape Town in 2020. Dr. Maassen is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies at American University, which they began in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained a FAA Commercial Remote Pilot License from the Federal Aviation Administration in January 2022.
