Sarah Goodwin is the current Executive Director at iBiology. Prior to this, they were the Director of iBiology at ASCB from September 2011 to September 2016. In this role, they led the iBiology project within the American Society for Cell Biology and helped establish iBiology as a separate non-profit.
Sarah has also been an adjunct faculty at University of San Francisco (USF) from January 2011 to May 2011, and a graduate student at University of California, San Francisco from September 2005 to July 2011.
Before their academic career, Sarah was a post-baccalaureate researcher at National Institutes of Health from June 2004 to June 2005.
Sarah's experience in science communication and education makes their uniquely suited for their current role at iBiology. Sarah is passionate about making scientific research accessible to everyone and sharing the latest discoveries with the world.
Sarah Goodwin has a Ph.D in Tetrad, Cell Biology from University of California, San Francisco and a B.A. in Biochemistry from Middlebury College.
