Amelia Wu

Amelia Wu has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership and fundraising roles within nonprofit organizations. Amelia most recently served as the Vice President of Strategy and Operations at Ibis Reproductive Health. Prior to that, they worked at the Global Fund for Women for over a decade, holding positions such as Senior Director of Operations and Partnerships and Senior Director of Philanthropic Partnerships. Amelia's responsibilities included overseeing team productivity and health, annual work planning, revenue projections, and fundraising strategy. Amelia also led and managed teams, raised significant funds from major institutional and individual donors, and ensured cross-team coordination and functionality. Before joining the Global Fund for Women, Amelia worked as a Senior Grant Writer at Room to Read. Amelia also has experience as a Philanthropy Consultant and held several roles at the Global Fund for Women earlier in their career, including Vice President of Programs and Evaluation and Program Officer for Asia and Europe. Amelia's expertise lies in program development, evaluation, fundraising, and strategic leadership. Amelia has a proven track record of successfully raising substantial funds and managing teams in the nonprofit sector.

Amelia Wu holds a Master's degree in Public Policy with a concentration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School. Amelia also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University.
