Joon Kim

Joon Kim is a finance professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange trading. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager at IBK Securities since December 2022, Joon previously held the position of Associate Vice President at Mizuho from May 2018 to November 2022, specializing as the main trader for FX spot (KRW). Prior roles include Associate at NH Investment & Securities, focusing on FX spot, forward, options, CCS, and short-term interest rates, and Analyst at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, where responsibilities included FX trading and money management. Joon is a graduate of The Wharton School, holding a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and also obtained a high school diploma from Woodside Priory School.
